knee jerk reaction that says “Oh my god this shouldn’t be happening”. That reaction is normal. What happens next is where the shift begins. Sure, you’re facing challenges when times are tough, but this is the exact right time to engage creativity and redefine the challenge as an opportunity.

Use this Book to Help You Get Through Those Tough Times.

When times are challenging it is important to make time for self care and nurturing. Being able to stay centered during chaotic times will help you to calm emotional upset and redefine situations in positive terms.

Finding the blessings in disguise is a talent that you only get to develop when times are tough. This skill is being able to look at rough situations and find the diamonds in the rough (blessings in disguise).

Hard Times, the Cornerstone of Creativity

Even in Tough Times You Can Create a Bright Future

Use These CD’s to Help Increase Your Creativity in Challenging times

If necessity is the mother of invention then challenge is the father of creativity. As you face a challenge try saying to yourself “What a great opportunity, I get to be creative”. As you reinforce this belief your creativity will blossom. There is an alternative to awakening your creativity in challenging times. You could just be a victim. In my opinion this is boring and a waste of a good opportunity. So when the road gets tough I invite you to get excited and know that you can bring more of the good stuff inside of you out to create a brighter future. So in the coming months when people say “times are tough” you can say “great, now lets get creative”.

As you are creating a Brighter Future I will be there,

Recreate Yourself

for a Bright Future

Recreation comes in many forms. If you go to the beach you can read a book, take a nap, body surf or swim a mile. All these can help to recharge your batteries refresh your outlook and reconnect you with your soul.

Re-creating is about balance and revitalizing yourself. It is one thing to know what you love and what re-energize’s you and it is another thing to incorporate it into your life on a daily basis. “He not busy being born is busy dying.” Troubadour and spokesperson for the 1960’s Bob Dylan sang in his song “It’s Alright Ma (I am Only Bleeding)”.

If you have recreation built into your schedule already, celebrate and recommit. If not get busy being born. Make recreation a priority. No one else can do it for you.

Buy these 4 CD’s to help you get busy being born.

If you are thinking I do not have time, I challenge that. Recreation helps you to bring out your best whether it is at work, school or home. You can make it so that it is not time away from other things; it is the refueling that gives you energy to make things happen in the important areas of your life.

Recreate Yourself for a Bright Future

So Sing, Draw, Dance, Walk, Cook, play with your pets, your kids and your spouse. Invent, express, make music and travel. Do it for fun and as a preventative so you don’t unravel.

Do a puzzle, laugh out loud, ride your bike or play hide and seek in a crowd.

Recreation with a purpose is important for life balance. Recharging your batteries, connecting you with your passion and helping you to bring more of the good stuff that is in you out into the world is a great goal for recreation.

Include recreation everyday,
Don’t let busy get in the way,
Take great care,
Of gifts you’re here to share.

It is up to you to create your bright future.

If you are ever confused and felling torn do something fun to get busy being born.

(Rhyming can be fun too.)

Create more joy and less hell till next time.
